Your Story

I was diagnosed 9/11/12 at age 33 with Invasive Ductual Carcinoma in my right breast and it had spread under both side underarm lymphnodes. I underwent chemo (weekly taxol) and radiation prior to a bilateral mastectomy (1/11/13) with Latissimus Doris flap on right side and had some lymph nodes removed on right side. I also had chemo (FEC) on the tail end and was given the nuelasta shot (white blood cell shot). In addition, had Herceptin injections. I am currently on tamoxifen and am awaiting reconstruction. I am so grateful to say "I AM CANCER FREE"! I like to control what I can - my attitude and my nutrition! I make juices everyday and overall live a healthy lifestyle. Remember - you are always your own best advocate! Stay positive ladies - you got this:)
