Hi everyone i have been reading everysingle question and comment. Has anyone ever heard of frozen bowel my mom has been hospitalized with same. I think the doctors are just leaving her there to die. Suggestions?

    Some meds. can cause constipation and there are things that can be used to relieve it. If I were her &/or you I'd be finding a different doctor(s) if you feel she isn't getting the treatment she needs.

      I agree with Betti. There are things that can be done. In the hospital, if you have not had a bowel movement, they have different types of enemas to use. They keep track of this in nursing homes too. They don't just not let you have a bm.

    I still take a probiotic every night. Not in yogurt but a pill. Prunes. Dates. High fibre. Walking. Exercise.

      Cindy thank you for asking especially today. Im going sloans for an mri. They saw a 'spot' on my liver. Im trying not to stress myself out too much. How was your vacation hope you enjoy. I should be celebrating my 50 on 7/4. Hope is good news

      Happy birthday , will keep my fingers crossed for you. How are you doing with Lyrica ?? Did it help?? Still taking gabapentin 300 x 3 but not really working for neuropathy does help sleep and hot flashes should call my dr and ask for Lyrica maybe...

      Lyrica works well but i feel drowsy most of the time. Good for me bad for my husband. Mri resched. You should try lyrica. I had to stop gabapentin. It was not doing anything for me

      Will check with my doc feel good overall if I excerise eat well get 8 hrs sleep and not drink too much it's just my feet are nit right hurts to walk bare foot even in the sand
