Hi Nicky, I am 33, was diagnosed at 32. I just finished my 6 rounds of chemo 3 weeks ago and starting radiation next week. I was diagnosed 2 A. Triple negative. I did pretty good thru chemo. No nausea, just very tired, and it went really fast. Can't believe I am done. Hang in there and u will get thru it. Stay strong and positive. Remember it's all mind over matter.

Hi. I'm 32 and was diagnosed sept 2011 while my husband was in Afghanistan. I've had my first lot of chemo followed by another 5 cycles I'm then having a masectomy and reconstruction then radiotherapy. I can't believe how many strong women there are out there going through the same thing. It really touches my heart. Stay strong like me :-) x

    Stage 4 Patient
Hi Nicky, I was diagnosed in May of last year with stage 3C breast cancer. I'm still going through my treatments. There are lots of great women on this site that will be here for support. There is also an awesome site called breastcancer.org that I highly recommend. It has a discussion group with women from all over the world, and all different ages. God bless you in your journey!

Please be honest with this girl. A mastectomy is not an easy surgery. Please share your experience so she will know what to expect. For instance how to sleep with 4 drains and getting in and out of bed.

It's not a hard surgery at all!!! The surgery is simple and that is why they let you go home the same day or the day after!

You will have a elastic type band to hold your upper body tight, you MAY have 2 draining tubes, not always! And as long as u sleep on the opposite side of the surgery and take tylenol and Advil your pain should be under control!

Hi Nicky, I'm 25 and from Ireland also! I'm just in the middle of chemo. Still have mastectomy and surgery to go but just taking one day at a time and not focusing on it. Just assign this year to treatment and here's to 2013 for both of us:) Anything u need to know just shout! It's the last thing u want at any age but the last thing I expected in my 20's!

Hi Nicky! I'm a 26 year old undergoing chemo currently. I still have my double mastectomy surgery after I'm finished with chemo. You're not alone, sad to say! But it certainly is shocking to be diagnosed with breast cancer in your mid 20s. Hope you're doing well throughout this!
