Learning About Breast Cancer
Hi all,
Had my second round of Cytoxin and Taxotere after a moderately severe reaction. They gave me extra steroids, an antihistimine and benadryl and administered it more slowly. It went well. So, hopefully the next two treatments will go well also. Because of already using my lifetime dose of adrimiacin, it gets a little tricky if I can't take the taxotere. My hair did thin way out and then started to grow in the two weeks I couldn't have chemo, I had it buzzed and when it starts to fall out again, my daughter will shave it. That just works best for me. I have personally had more side effects with the taxotere, but they are manageable. The one I hate the most is the fatigue. It is mental and physical and I just endure. Watching a lot of television though lol!

My hair thinned first, came out in my hands and hairbrush, so after my second treatment I took charge and cut my long long hair and had a Mohawk until it all fell out..
It's growing back now though! 2 months outta chemo

Lol, I also had a Mohawk, hot pink. I had it done 7 days after my first AC treatment and had my friend shave it the same night. It actually started coming out 13 days after my first chemo! I am also triple negative, stage 1, no lymph...
