Chemo has not made me sick, just very tired. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids so as not to get dehydrated. My hair also came out around day 15 after first treatment. Good luck to you!

I never got sick but had a bad reaction to one of the additives in my "recipe." I also never had any pain from having my mastectomy. But.... I was totally bald! Just as every woman's breast cancer differs a bit, so does her reaction to the chemotherapy, I was just very, very, lucky to have had such as easy time with breast cancer treatment. Take care, Sharon

It is true, but if you are being treated for breast cancer you will likely lose your hair. Of course, I asked the same questions, hoping and praying I would not lose my hair, but I did, right when they said I would. As for the sickness, some people feel bad and some don't. Some get nauseous and sick and some don't. But there's no guarantee, so be prepared and follow the nurses' and doctors' instructions for managing side effects so you feel as good as possible.
