Yes it is. I had taxotere/carboplatin n herceptin, my oncologist stopped after 5 treatments. I was sick, tired, couldn't eat. Miserable, but you will be better soon. I had to be on herceptin another 9 months, once a month or two passes,i started feeling better. Give yourself a little time, you will be fine.

I finished July 6. My eyes are just now beginning to let up on the constant watering. I still get tired and somewhat breathless; probably a little anemic still. I'm starting radiation soon. Waiting for a call. Having a few weeks vacation from Herceptin. BUT I am Sooo grateful there is treatment that may kill this enemy or at least hold it back.

Cindy, I always had my TCH on Friday. Starting on Monday when the steroids wore off, I'd feel horrible. That 6th one made me feel like someone drained the life out of me. It will gradually get better. Just keep telling yourself that you are strong, healthy and well. Use those words like a mantra. Your un conscience brain will start to believe you because it can't tell the difference between what is real and what is just an idea. Remember you are strong, healthy and well.

I had four treatments and felt terrible, never thought I would feel good again. My last chemo treatment was Feb 29th. Finished radiation May 10th. I feel normal and back to myself now. If only I could get my hair back. Best wishes

I had taxotere four years ago and my hair never grew back! No eyebrows, lashes, underarm or anywhere. I hope yours grows back. Sanofi has actually changed their patient info for taxotere to say that hairloss may be permanent. They did that as a result of a growing number of women around the world whose hair did not grow back after taxotere. (or grew back in a Ben Franklin style). It still makes me mad.
