Does the burning, stinging, biting pain ever go away?

If you are talking about pain in your arm after removal of lymph nodes, the burning, stinging went away after 3 weeks. The numbness I believe my dr said it was permanent. Best wishes ;)-

Good grief!! You are SOOOOO lucky. I still have all of it. On fire most of the time. Two nerve blocks and still burning. 12 nodes removed. Only one positive and I pay a heavy price for that. Numbness is better than what it was in the...

Update: Third nerve block done. Fourth one scheduled. My arm is dead/numb, but for some reason feels like the muscle and nerve have become shorter. I can't reach the top shelf anymore! Driving is a horrible experience that I do as seldom as...

Armpit and upper arm. Left side. Constant burning and pain. I've had two nerve blocks. Some relief, but surning, stinging pain still there.

The above sounds like the burning and pain are in my left side. I meant to say left arm - armpit and upper arm. I have accepted that I will from here on be incompetent.
