I had my hairdresser friend shave it very close, but not bald. I lost it all before my third treatment. I had a great wig I got online, synthetic, looked just like my hair. Now a year later my hair grew back much nicer than before

I took my horse's clippers and shaved my head. I just found it to be most disturbing to have my hair coming out in clumps. I just wanted to get past that --side effect-- asap. My horse clippers took care of that! I slept in a cap that someone had knitted out of baby yarn. It was very soft and kept my head warm too. Good luck to you and God's blessings. Sharon

I shaved mine after it started to fall out. Well a friend did, but she gave me a Mohawk, so it was easier since we were laughing. The only caveat is that with the short stubble on my head, my scalp hurt a little when sleeping on it, so it might have been better it keep it a little longer. Like a inch or two.

I cut my hair short before chemo, once it started to fall out I shaved it really low with the clippers. I had a very low buzz cut but after a few more treatments that fell out

I started losing mine after first treatment...I had hairdresser cut it a one with the clippers...it is stubby in some places but all starting to come out now. I have a slew of hats that I have bought and been given to me...bought 3 wigs..the cheapest one fills the best...I prefer the soft hats and scarves the most, the wigs drive me crazy after wearing for a while. There are patterns to make hats and specialty shops to help you...even though I Knew the hair was going o go it was still very traumatic to me...good luck. You make it best I you know God is with you all the way!

I cut my hair really short too, not shaved. A friend told me she was told not to shave it bc it might not grow back evenly. However, I have some hair and bald spots so it looks a little crazy. I also got. Synthetic wig just like what my hair used to look like. No one can tell its my hair.
