I recently was diagnosed with breast cancer. By having a very astute doctor who did not trust a negative mammogram and biopsy we found the growths when he insisted I have an MRI. They found two areas malignant. I was diagnosed with stage one cancer , Her2 positive, I had a bilateral mastectomy and just started chemo with 4 drugs. As a mom with a son with a disability it is sometimes overwhelming but my faith has held me up. I start my second round of chemo next week. I know now why we are called survivors!
