About a week ago I went in to get a mammogram which also includes a sonogram for me. They found a bump that is reported to be 1/4 of an inch. A core needle biopsy was done and I found out a few days later that it was in fact cancer. I have only spoken with the radiologist (I have not yet met with the oncologist but have set up an appointment ) but everyone seems to think at this point that my prognosis is good. But I am still worried and unsure of everything. I am 44.
