December 7, 2012 - Stage 3B, verging into Stage 4 invasive ductal carcinoma and invasive lobular carcinoma (breast cancer) with both lymph node and vascular involvement. 99% estrogen positive. Test at the UT Cancer Institute & Genetics Lab showed the cancer is growing 7x faster than my healthy cells.
January 28, 2013 - Bi Lateral Mastectomy, 28 lymph nodes removed, none clean
March 10(?), 2013 - Complete hysterectomy
April 2013 - December 2013 Red Devil (chemo) followed by a new one that I can't remember the name of! ChemoBrain!
January 2014 - August 2014 - Radiation
October 3, 2014 Declared myself a Survivor - the doctors give me less than a 1% chance of living for the next 5 years. I smiled and put my faith where it belongs, with God. He has a plan for me and dying now is not one of them, of this I am certain.
November 3, 2014 - Returned to work full-time and realized the battle is still on, in some ways harder and more intense than the treatment phase.
