A year out from the last rad treatment following lumpectomy & sentinel node bx of 1.9cm invasive ducal tumor with lymphovascular involvement but (thankfully) negative nodes. Hormone positive for both estrogen and progesterone. Since my life was already challenging at the time of my dx I was on antidepressants and when this news came in on top of everything else, there was no way in the world my doc (any of them) wanted me off those meds. The big deal? Tamoxifen doesn't play well with antidepressants so though I need 5 years of treatment, I can't take it and was given toremifene instead.
I am premenopausal but the toremifene is indicated for POST menopausal women. So here I am looking for answers.
