Your Story

I was diagnosed February 2012 with IDC of left breast, HR +, stage 2A, grade one, clean margines, no node involvement, low oncoDX score. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node removed followed by 16 radiation treatments and femara. After two years of intolerable side effects, I stopped the Femara. In February of 2018 I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer to in the sacrum of my back and 5 points under .9 cm in both lungs. I received 10 rad treatments to the 5 tumors in the lower back to relieve pain and shrink the tumors. I've just receive my 6th monthly infusion of zometo to clean up hypercalcimia, Femara every day for the rest of my life, and my 4th month of 400mg of Kiskali in 21 day cycle orally to stop and kill cancer cells. I'm responding well even though side effects can be debilitating in the evening. The doctor will begin to spread the zometa infusions further apart as well as the kisqali as indicated by pet scans.
