Yes it is very common. I also had some chest pain and upper back pain. There is a lot of stretching taking place. You will have so much relief when you get implants. Hang in there it does get better.

I've had a lot of mobility issues with my right arm (also had lymph nodes removed). It's been tough but therapy has helped so much! She does a lot of soft tissue massage on top of the exercises. So that really helps!!!
I did not do Rads, but I had a fever after the reconstruction surgery. I got the antibiotics but it got worse and they had to remove the TE. Good luck to you!!
Hi Margaret, I just read this post. How do you do with TE infection? I start radiation this week . I have a infection in the drain removal area. Dr has me on antibiotics for 10 days. Thank you if you can reply. And how are you now?
It depends on your job duties and guidance from your doctor. I was off 2 weeks for the same procedures because I was a special ed teacher and had to lift students. If you have drains, (I did for about a week) you probably shouldn't return until after they are removed. Best wishes for a speedy...

I had both sides done on a wednesday and COULD have gone back that next Monday. I took a few more days as I was still sore and it was at Christmas! Hope all goes well for you!!
