Learning About Breast CancerI would insist on a biopsy. I did the same thing. I didn't have pain but strange tingling and drawing sensation. I ended up with stage 2a invasive ductal carcinoma

Hi Kendra..my diagnosis was pretty similar to your. I had DCIS, lumpectomy Nov 2013 and found out they didn't get clean margins. Had mastectomy Jan 13, 2013. No radiation or chemo. I also was very tender for several weeks after the lumpectomy, just started feeling better about the time my mastectomy was scheduled. It will get better, give it time.
Ouch! It does take a while! I kept a heart shape pillow under my arm for quite awhile!
