Only God knows exactly. If I have a say it's cancer free for at 30 years(I am 61). My best advice is live every day full of joy and celebration. After treatment I do the best I can to not have cancer come back. I take my tamoxifen, watch my weight, and exercise, and make all my doctors appointments. The rest I leave to God.

There is no way to know. You follow the treatment plan and live your life. Any one of us could get into a fatal car accident tomorrow (much more likely that breast cancer getting us!) There are so many advancements in breast cancer treatment that are coming on line every day. You just keep planning for a long life and live it... that is YOUR JOB! Let your doctor's worry about your health. Hang in there and take care, Sharon

The ladies are right Live. Fight. And control what you can. Ultimately I hope to die of something else but think that's not so realistic. So then I move onto delay tactics and I try to forget. But you can't do that while you are in active chemo treatment. Hugs and I wish you drink lots of carrot and green juices. Xx

I am very new to this...diagnosed with Stage 0 DCIS...feel very fortunate but overwhelmed with how much treatment... had lumpectomy, now scheduled for radiation and then hormone tx. I understand it's standard but part of me feels like it may be too much for my stage/diagnosis. I'm 37. I also over think and want to do the right thing.
