I have an axillary lump, which my doctor treated with antibiotics. Now it has painful ropes growing from it. Could it be breast cancer?

It could be anything or nothing. I would get it checked out as soon as possible and get a second opinion. Best of luck to you.

I agree with Lysa. Since this has not responded to antibiotics, it warrants further investigation. Always best to get lumps and bumps, checked out asap. Good luck to you and keep us posted.
