I have had radiation at the end of 2012 - 2013 a cough started, right after 6 months. I went to Dr. had x-rays, d-dimer test etc... I think it's radiation cough, anyone else experience this?
Haven't experienced it but if your radiation shoots through lungs it is more likely. The aim of mine were mostly contained in breast tissue. I had one than shot through to the back though. If you had that and the placement was more through your lung it is very likely it will take time and patience. Oh those are supposed to be good signs and good words.
Have you notified your medical team that you have the cough ?
Even though it may be expected after radiation - they would be interested in knowing that it had occurred . They may have possible suggestions to help and want to follow up .
Hope you feel better soon and it resolves quickly !
