Survival rates are based on the stage of the cancer. They can be found by googling breast cancer survival rates. Use a reputable site like The American Cancer Society or breastcanxer.org. They statistics are based on the first five years. Please try not not to get hung up on the numbers. I was stage 2 and am doing great 10 years later. Live each day to the fullest! Do things that bring you joy each day. Maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor helps to get through it. There is life after cancer. Wishing you a wonderful one!

Life Is Good is correct in every way. DON'T get hung up on statistics. Statistics are not flesh and blood human beings. When somebody focuses on statistics, they are already spending too much time on THE GLASS IS HALF EMPTY. You put your mind on the fight and keep it there. No sense in wasting thoughts on the negative. I am alive today and that is what counts. When I am dead, that's when I will think about it. Once I found out I have cancer, I put every single negative thought away and just put my head into the wind and got on with treatment. I counted every day and another day closer to getting back to my normal life. Hang in there, don't waste your time cowering in the corner.... put on those big girl panties and get on with the fight. You will make it. Take care, Sharon
