Wow! I just feel like there are so many. 1. Joint pain and stiffness 2. Loss of libido 3. 50 point increase in cholesterol 4. Severe pain with intercourse. 5. Sweats - not night sweats. I get hot and sweat more easily now.

I've had the joint pain, higher cholesterol and "hot flashes" too. I've also experienced a loss of cognitive skills. It's much more of an effort now to remember things and multi-task.

I also have joint pain and stiffness, loss of libido (probably due the the quick onset of menopause) and night sweats. I also have experienced pain in my feet to the point that I have a hard time walking on my left foot. Lack of memory, etc.

There have to be answers so that all of us survivors don't suffer for the rest of lives.

Reading through all these, my heart goes out to you ladies. My mother lost her battle to cancer after 15 years in February. My wife was diagnosed in April after giving birth to my son. As a man, I feel so angry/helpless. I see some are asking about toxins, check out the china study or the gerson therapy. Some good info in these books. God bless all of you, and may hope and strength over fill your bodies.

Thanks for sharing. I thought my doctor was just brushing me off when she told me it might be due to the chemo.

I'm a five year survivor, and my oncologist told me that once the chemo stops, so do the side effects. The survivors I've spoken to say otherwise. I thank the Lord he rescued me from the cancer; He helps me manage the aftereffects every day. It would be helpful for women to understand that these are longlasting, and don't disappear with the end of treatment.

The WBC is the white blood cells. It is slightly elevated and means there is some kind of infection somewhere in the body. Could be just a urinary tract infection or upper respiratory infection. Watch for fever and she should increase her fluid intake if she isn't on a fluid restriction for some reason. Hope this helps
