Hello I had bilateral Monday, went well, sore & the drains are a pain at all levels. Waiting on node report, sentinels positive. Praying for good report.

    I had my bilateral 2 weeks ago. Getting the drains out will make a huge difference in comfort. I'm still pretty sore and have expanders in. Just stay positive. WE will survive!

      Sorry it took so long to respond. I carry the BRCA2 gene and have to have my ovaries out bc there's a link to ovarian cancer down the road. So, until then I am going to take the pill Tamoxifin. Now they r testing me for the Her2. If it's neg...

Now they r testing me for the Her2. If it's neg (which they seem to think it will be), the above remains the same. If it's pos., they may do chemo..boo!
