I had a stereo biopsy in August 2010 and the results were benign. Last week, during my annual exam, the doctor found two lumps in the same vicinity of the biopsy. Could this be cancer, or just scar tissue? I'm scared.

Talk to your doctor, of course, but the good news is that 9 out 10 lumps are benign. I know it can be scary to have to wait, but I hope you can have some peace knowing that the odds are in your favor. Either way, don't be afraid to get a second opinion, and be encouraged that you are doing everything you can to catch it early. I find the best way to get beyond the fear is to talk and talk and talk more to my friends and loved ones. It's good to get your feelings and fears out in the open. I hope this helps! Praying for a good report.
