Only if they treat your scalp. If you have it one your breast area you do not. Now some of the medications you are given afterwards can cause hair thinning like tamoxifen.

Now ladies understand you need to check with your doctor before you take any supplements but I have been taking biotin and Pre natal vitamins everyday. I'm using nioxin shampoe for thinning hair. I give myself scalp massages , hot il treatments and hang my head upside down for a few minutes each day for good blood flow to the scalp. All this seems to be helping some.

I had radiation on my spine to help shrink a tumor I have in my tailbone and I lost the hair in that area. It was just localized in the area that the radiation was given.
