I have a lump and have been told it may be a cyst. Am waiting for further tests. Can breast cancer make you sleepy? I've been very tired for a while now and am wondering if this could be part.

I don't want to alarm you but I felt really different when I found mine . A few weeks before my mood and habits seemed to change . Cysts can change hormones also .

You can't really say . I am 27 and have triple negative Dcis . I am the youngest that has been diagnosed in Utah Wyoming Idaho study . I have no family history . My husband and I just knew what it was when we felt it . No matter what the results it's not the end of the world We have a almost three year old and a 16 month old and were making it . It's hard but we are here and have become a stronger couple because of it . We are here for you through everything . Many prayers . Can't wait for hopefully good results .

      Janine,
One can't say. Most of the breast lumps turn out to be benign (not cancer). I don't know about the tired part. I felt normal but breast cancer is sneaky. You are doing what you should to find out what this it. Waiting is the worst! Hopefully, this will turn out to be worry for nothing. Unfortunately, even a doctor can't guess and that is why they test further. Doctor's are paid to worry and most of the time, they scare the socks off of you. Hang in there and take care, Sharon

It's not always clear cut like that . When were young they take extra cautions . I am 27 . Have you heard anything . Yet ?

When I found my lump, I felt completely normal. I suggest that you try not to worry until you need to. I pray your lump is just a cyst

I'm waiting too after mammogram and ultrasound. The radiologist put me on the 6 month recheck but my Dr. Wants a specialist opinion. going next week. Do you have pain where your lump is?

I highly recommend that you get a breast MRI done. I had your exact situation and thank God I went to get a second opinion the dr ordered a breast mri and I indeed had cancer. Recovering from bilateral mastectomy.

Always get a second opinion. I was misdiagnosed twice and finally diagnosed when it was stage IV and incurable. I had very obvious symptoms such as lumps and retracted nipple. I didn't have any or very little pain even into later staging.
