    Sorry my computer keeps posting too early. The Breast Surgeon goes in and takes out as much tissue as possible to get clear margins. Which also leaves a lot less tissue that can potentially have a reoccurrence or get new Cancer. At the same time the Plastic Surgeon comes in to fix the Cancerous Breast so it doesn't look deformed and evens out the other side. As a result it is more like a Breast Reduction so it is usually done on bigger breasted women.
