Is there a blood test or other test I should request to make sure the cancer is not returning?

I haven't heard of a blood test specifically for the detection of breast cancer although I think it is in-the-works. I would think testing would have to be more in the realm of mammogram, MRI, PET Scan, CAT Scan. If your blood panels start looking outside the normal range like for liver... it might mean breast cancer has metastasized. You would have to go more on symptoms for something like that. A blood test, once it is perfected will make things so much easier! Sharon

If you just had surgery recently, you can ask your oncology about oncodx type test.
