I have stage 2a breast cancer. I had a mastectomy because in my case my breast was small and I had tentacles coming from the 1.5 cm cancer cell. So my decision was best for me. I was glad I did it. But you must do what is right for you. Good luck . be thinking of you.
Sorry I hit done to early.... I have the same cancer I did a lumpectomy. 7.3 was taken. Between the lumpectomy and tadiation I''m pretty deformed. I'm about to do reconstruction and and finish the mastectomy.
The clinical stage in my case is 1 due to the small size of tumor ( 1,4cm ) ,but I do not know the pathological stage yet. I am also waiting the results of genetic test to come out before my surgery. What kind of therapies you needed?
