I asked to stop taking the Neulasta halfway through my infusions because the side effects were excruciating but now I'm worried about my white blood cell count's are just some of you choose not to have Neulasta
I also asked to stop, but my Oncologist told me that he could get rid of the cancer, but an infection could kill me. I forged ahead and took extra pain meds and got through it. It wasn't easy. Good Luck to you. BTW, Claritin did not help me at all.
The trick for me is to take Claritin the day BEFORE chemo, then the day of and for 5 days after that. The one time I forgot to do it this way and I was in pain but when I did it this way it didn't hurt.
